What you do to me.

Have you ever really felt your heart beat within your chest? Contracting, filling and suddenly crushing tightly, building and releasing pressure on your lungs and ribcage. Noting every beat, concentrating on it, listening to it. Change a thought in your mind and you can make it beat harder and faster, erase that thought and feel the pattern of palpitations slow, almost tripping over itself as the adrenaline filters out of your system.

Shut out the world, hear yourself. Turn off your senses, focus internally. Be calm, be still.

Then I feel what you do to me.
